THE BARN IS REOPENING!
From the beginning of August, the Barn will be bringing people together again (in a socially distanced and responsible way of course!).
Starting with Club activities, meetings and some learning activities, the Barn will gradually be gearing up with a view to opening fully again for all types of wellbeing, fitness sub-teen parties and other sessions in the Autumn – Government guidance permitting.
Making The Barn as Safe as Possible
The Barn is being upgraded with touch-free hand sanitising stations and information about distancing and hygiene. For a while restrictions will be in place, including over the use of the kitchen and some of the Barn facilities. Hirers will undertake to wipe down surfaces at the beginning and end of their hire and the calendar will be organised in such a way that there is time for this and for suitable gaps between hires to reduce congestion.
The fitness and wellbeing tutors have been helping us develop policies and guidelines to make sure everyone is safe. Of course, everyone who uses the Barn will have a part to play to ensure that the space is used responsibly.
Watch out for more news about the activities as they re-start.
Keeping You Informed

Support can come in many forms, and we each need this at different times. Feeling part of our community is essential for us all, where we can join forces with one another, even within the confines of isolation.

THE BARN AS A FOOD HUB
Whilst The Barn, like all venues, has been unable to host its normal array of gatherings, it has been far from inactive. Since The Barn in Westdene was wrestled back into community hands by Friends of Westdene Green some 4 years ago, it has been providing a focal point for local people to come together, and Covid-19 has not got in the way of The Barn providing support network for local people to connect and engage with one another.
