THE BARN HAS REOPENED!
Wellbeing activities (including Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi), Clubs and some learning activities are returning to the Barn Government guidance permitting. Here's what's on
The Barn has been upgraded with hand sanitising stations and information about distancing and hygiene. The fitness and wellbeing tutors have been helping us develop policies and guidelines to make sure the risk of transmission of covid-19 is minimised. Of course, everyone who uses the Barn will have a part to play to ensure that the space is used responsibly. For the time being the kitchen and some of the Barn facilities will not be in use.
Restrictions and Government rules
There are some restrictions in place due to Government rules which mean that for the time we will not be accepting bookings for most one-off social gatherings such as baby showers:
* Social distancing rules mean that the Barn's capacity is 8-9 people at the moment for most hires
* Face masks must be worn except during wellbeing classes, our monthly Luncheon Club and for people with medical conditions that prevent the use of a face mask
* People are required to restrict their socialising to others in their "bubbles" when attending activities and events
Keeping You Informed
New improved community noticeboards dotted around Westdene will keep you in the picture and the Barn noticeboards, inside and out will be updated frequently.
