WORKSHOPS AT THE BARN
Following its successful first Wellbeing Workshop about Women's Health and Hormones FoWDG put on its second free workshop on January 7th with attendees offered an uplifting New Year treat with a detox workshop run by medical herbalist Julia Behrens and cookery teacher & Kitchen Therapy innovator Charlotte Hastings.
The workshop looked at herbal teas and foods used in detoxing and explored individual plants and oils that can improve a sluggish digestive system, clear the skin, and leave you with more energy and improved concentration. During the workshop a nurturing Ayurvedic recipe was made which gives your digestive system a cleansing break. Tips and ideas to increase flavour and nutrition whilst removing 'sugar-lust' in your everyday cooking was also touched upon.
