RECOVERT - RENOVATING THE LITTLE COPSE ON THE GREEN

A practical project to rejuvenate the little copse beside The Barn by removing some of dead stuff and planting some indigenous trees to make it more beneficial to wildlife.  All the great natural climbing places will remain, and some new ones will be created.
​All trees have a natural life, and the elder trees are now dying, so we will fell and trim some and leave them to be climbed over. The brash will be piled into cover-banks and safely stacked.  The new trees will be small and will be protected with posts and wire initially. Eventually there should be new colours, both flower and foliage, and new textures in both spring and autumn, and some new evergreens.
