WESTDENE VILLAGE FAIR - BACK IN SEPT 2022
*For now our events may have to remain online or at distance. We will keep you informed via our e-news and local noticeboards.
The Village Fair is a Westdene community highlight that sadly had to be cancelled this year because of the pandemic. We fully expect it to be back in September 2022 and if you’d like to get involved - whether it be to join the event committee – give us more ideas and suggestions – commit to setting up or clearing away – help on the day with stalls and the information point.
To give you a flavour of the event, here are some highlights of the Village Fair held last year:
The event which started at midday and attracted well over 400 people of every age. We had a lot of great feedback on the day from happy people who remarked it was the best one yet!
Attractions included:
Thanks to all the stallholders who provided a really interesting browsing experience. From having an instant portrait made to delicious local honey, brick-a-brac stalls and impressive face painting, there was plenty to see and do.
Refreshments were in abundance with the tea and cakes stall, our bar team, Westdene Butchers cooking up a storm with hog roast rolls, Calcutta Kiss and Macks Ices
Special thanks go out to all the volunteers who helped us set up, recycle waste, pack away and clean the Barn. Thanks all for coming!
