CHRISTMAS AT THE BARN SAT 14TH DEC 2019 1-5.30pm

​Christmas is coming and the Friends of Westdene Green can’t wait to put up the lights and get ready for our annual festive event!

The Barn will be home a range of festive activities for children and adults alike. Make a festive wreath or garland for your front door using beautiful natural foliage collected by the team the day before and add decorations supplied by the Barn to give add that final special touch! 
Come and join one of the crafts tables with your children and create beautiful Christmas gifts and decorations which will put a smile on anyone’s face who is lucky enough to receive them on the special day! There will also be a super talented face painter available on the day to transform you with her magic paints! 
There will be teas, coffees, soft drinks and lovely cake to consume, as well as mulled wine and hot dogs for those of you might want something more substantial.
At 4.30pm lift the darkness and come join our annual Carol Singing at the Barn where we really get into the festive spirit! Nadia will lead you in a rousing round of traditional festive songs. There will be mulled wine and hot drinks available afterwards at The Barn and song sheets will be provided.  Lanterns and accompanied children are welcome as are those just wanting to come along and listen.
We hope you can come with your friends and family to join us at this festive time.
All of our events are free to enter but there will be charges for certain activities, food and drink

CHRISTMAS LUNCH  TUESDAY 17TH DECEMBER 12.30

Delicious festive fair served by our brilliant team, the brilliant Westdene Community Lunch lunch team welcomes all local residents, young and old. A recent attendee said “Thank you for the opportunity to chat with new and old friends over a lovely community meal.”
